Carson is now 4 months old! We can't believe how fast he is growing. He is smiling and laughing alot and making his parents laugh too! He is sleeping better but still not letting mom get through the whole night! We started rice cereal with him which was fun for him and us! He is weighing in at 15lbs 25 inches (growing like a bean pole)! Hope everyone is having a great summer!

Carson is still growing like a bean pole! He is now 13lbs. 4oz! We can't believe he has gained 6lbs since he was born. Mom started back to work last week, so we all have had an adjustment. We are very lucky that Mimi is watching carson on the days that mom goes to work! It has made it easier for mom to leave him knowing he is in such good hands. We hope everyone has a great 4th of July!

Well, carson had to go to his two month appointment and get his first shots last week! I think it was harder on mom than it was on Carson. And of course, he is growing like a bean pole 11lbs. 9 1/2 oz. and 23 inches long. We also got our first smile about two weeks ago! It's amazing how happy that can make a mom and dad feel!!! Hope this update finds everyone doing well!

Weekend trip

We went to Kansas city this weekend so Carson could meet his new cousin Riley Grace. Carson also got to meet his great grandpa Jake! We had four generations at Shanes this weekend, it was pretty neat! Carson also got to spend some time with his aunt annie. And don't worry, Carson again didn't disappoint us at the baby weigh clinic, he was 10lbs 11oz today!

New Addition

Carson, Chris, and I are proud to announce we have a new addition to our family! Shane and Shandi are the proud parents of beautiful Riley Rooney born today at 7lbs. 3oz. 19inches long. Mom and baby are doing great! We will post pictures soon!

Big Week

Carson has had a big week! His mimi, Judy, came home on thursday! Judy also babysat for us on friday night so carson got some good quality time with mimi! This weekend carson's great aunt and uncle, Fred and Jeanie, came to town to meet him as well. He is a very popular kid for only being 4 weeks old! And yesterday, we went to the baby weigh clinic and he was 9lbs. 5oz! He was up 11 oz this week! He is definately not being underfed.
